Cartesi is a decentralized and scalable Linux infrastructure that solves the problem of scalability and development infrastructure for decentralized web.

With Cartesi, Blockchain applications can be encrypted with broad domains of existing main software stacks. The application runs without chains, with a strong guarantee of security from the blockchain, but is not limited to computing and high costs.

Off-Chain Computation
The first tool used by the Cartesi blockchain to enable the growth of the DApps industry is the use of off-chain for computations. In this instance, the use of an off-chain among many other features ensures that the bandwidth used for computation is reduced. It also helps to take more traffic to the other chain while making it possible for the main network to work without any hitches.

Verification Game
It is true that the blockchain technology created a unique governance model that depends on the suggestions and opinions of the users. However, disputes tend to come up if some of the participants are not at ease with the outcome of the computations.


That is why the Cartesi blockchain designed a Verification Game that helps to resolve any dispute. By the formulations, the Verification Game is triggered when the parties involved in a transaction disagree with the machine state or computation delivered by any of the Cartesi Machines. It is in such a case that the Verification Game would be used to verify the truism of the transaction, after which it would penalize the defaulting party and compensate the shortchanged party.

Erick de Moura is the CEO of Cartesi and a seasoned software engineer. Diego Nehab is the CTO and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Graphics from Princeton University. He was also a schoolmate of Erick de Moura. Diego spent 8 years doing research in IMPA and authored several academic papers on computer. Augusto Teixeira is the chief scientific officer at Cartesi and a researcher at IMPA. The project has invited 5 advisors, including two Ph.D. holders. One of them is Serguei Popov, the co-founder of IOTA. Generally speaking, the team shows a rather solid academic background, but lacks experience in the blockchain industry. (7.5/10)

With my little experience in the cryptocurrency, getting involved in a worthy project like this in its early stage only comes once in a while because the industry is now diluted with lots of crappy projects, however CARTESI is exceptional because its already live and on-boarding new clients. CARTESI is here to set a new standard in the cryptocurrency exchange ecosystem and as such, I consider this project as one that you wouldn’t want to miss for anything, however, please perform your due diligence by checking up on the exchange website and whitepaper.
